We've added WarpZip Lite to the distribution as an additional tool for registered users of WarpZip or the PillarSoft Suite.
Thanks to some nudging by Eirik Overby and an OS/2 e-Zine article by Luc Van Bogaert, I have been persuaded to go back to work on a sideline project that had been gathering dust until now. Eirik had been nudging me about this type of program (and more) a couple of months ago and Luc's mention in OS/2 e-Zine got me wondering who does his industrial espionage. Luc's mention of the name "WarpZip Lite" hit the nail right on the head! I read his article the other day and decided to brush up what I had and add it to the WarpZip distribution.
WarpZip Lite offers a lightweight way to extract zip files while working on your desktop. It becomes an "Open as..." menu selection for zip files and allows the user to extract the archive to any selected (or created) directory. Currently, WarpZip Lite works only on ZIP archives as the basis for this program was done before WarpZip had support for other archivers.
